Located approximately 50 miles northwest of downtown Houston in Hockley, Texas, our family-owned farm takes great pride in producing high-quality hay and livestock. With a commitment to excellence in everything we do, we ensure each product meets the highest standards.
Steady Growth
Our journey in the hay business began in 2001 with the construction of our first hay barn. Since then, we've steadily expanded, incorporating the latest hay baling technology and adding two additional barns to meet growing demand and ensure top-quality production.
Family Rooted
The Hegar family’s roots in Texas agriculture run deep — dating back to the early 1850s, when our ancestors first began farming and ranching in this great state. For generations, we've remained dedicated to the land, passing down our values of hard work, integrity, and a commitment to quality in everything we do.
Today, we bale hay on approximately 600 acres. We want to take a moment to sincerely thank everyone who has supported us along the way. For us, this is more than just a business, it’s a way of life.
